Another reason the school wanted the Virginia Tech Nike jersey is because of the money it brings in. First of all, Nike signs only the best college teams and they are going to pay them handsomely to sway them and keep them at Nike. Nike also gives bonuses to the coaches for talking about their Virginia Tech Nike jersey on their college coach’s show on TV and the radio.
Another reason to don the Virginia Tech Nike jersey is because it looks good to the fans and they want it. Also, Nike ultimately knows who buys their product and it’s the fans of these college teams. Nobody buys up more merchandise than college football fans and the Virginia Tech Nike jersey would be an excellent seller. All of these reasons are why Virginia Tech wants to have a Virginia Tech Nike jersey.
